"Now let's talk about the social reality show"

In 2015, Kudumbashree and Doordarshan jointly organized a social reality show called 'Ini Njangal Parayam.' In this reality show conducted across the CDSs of 14 districts in Kerala, the Cherthala Gram Panchayat Kudumbashree CDS secured the sixth position. They also received an award of 5 lakh rupees. All areas of Kudumbashree, including the Balasabha, entrepreneurship programs, JLG, along with social and economic empowerment, and gender-focused initiatives, were part of this reality show. The aim of the show was to bring CDSs towards the concept of 'self-sufficiency.'
