*Beacon Town Clean-up Carried Out*
On Gandhiji Jayanti, a clean-up was conducted as part of the Chemlai Gram Panchayat's Swachhta Hi Seva, Project Beacon Town, and Varnodayam initiatives. The clean-up was the fourth phase of work in the town chosen as Beacon Town. Panchayat President Vipin B.P. led the initiative. Around 80 people, including panchayat members, MGNREGA workers, Haritha Karma Sena volunteers, traders, and local residents, participated in the clean-up. As part of the program, staff also cleaned the panchayat office and its surroundings.
Following this, a live streaming exhibition related to the state-level launch of the Nirmalam Puthu Yugam Clean Kerala Public Campaign was held in the panchayat hall.
